I can't remember exactly what triggered the idea for Judas to begin with. Most of my story line come from day dreams usually triggered by what ever i was reading at that present time and most don't progress much further than that either. All i remember about the creation of Judas is a mind wandering i was having about a month or so ago when walking down to work. It was 4:30 in the morning and because it was the middle of winter, pitch black. I believe i started to have wild imaginings of being attacked. To give myself confidence i created in my mind a young woman who was a confidant arse-kicker. Thats how it began.
Then one day i was bored and drifted off in day dreaming. This figure in my mind evolved. I decided she was a vampire, but she wasn't an ordinary vampire. i was sick of reading about vampires who hate being vampires and loathed themselves, or alternatively love being a vampire and felt greatly hard done by, by having to keep their race a secret. I wanted her to be different. It took me awhile to think of what would make her different.
I decided that she would be a vampire who slayed vampires. I realized that this was a similar story line to the character "Blade". I had an extensive argument with my younger sister as to why she was different to the character Blade. She was different because she didn't kill vampires because she loathed them, as Blade does, she is a service for hire. she does away with problem vampires who threaten the exposure of the species.
To begin with i was going to write her into a fan fiction for the TV series "Supernatural" but i didn't really like the way they did the fangs for their vampires. So instead i set about writing a story of her own. Thus resulting in "Judas"! I wasn't going to put it up yet but i wanted to throw the idea to the unwashed public (kidding!!!) and see what they thought of the idea before i became to invested in the idea. People seem to like it so far, so I'll continue for the time being.
I may yet still write Ellen into a Supernatural Fan fiction, i just like the idea a lot. I just won't mention anything about the fangs!!
I have another piece in the works also but i am struggling with the story line a bit so it may be a long while before any of that reaches here.
